GWF (Georgian Wine Family) is an alliance of four Georgian wine companies, with one of the countries’ best wine-makers at the helm, devoted to quality wine-making. A collective effort to market top quality wines on new markets, and work together to make Georgian wine known to the world wine sector. An initiative supported by the German Technical Co-operation (GTZ) project.

   Talk about knowing how to poke the Russians in the eye. Georgia, the compact (population 5.4 million), vine-rich country, is in a political whirl as it notches up cheeky affront on top of calculated disrespect for its former overlord from the old Soviet days.
